Safe to assume the latter and cease wasting time on piffle.
So you think it was just a random occurrence that at the exact same time that a bat-generated disease brought the world economy to a halt, an economic currency was released with a picture of a bat on it? These are two once-in-a-century events with a similar theme that happened within weeks of each other. I think it strains credulity that it was just a coincidence.

The reasonable conclusion is that these two events are part of the same plan. It is only our desire not to believe such a thing that would make us reject this reasonable conclusion.

You're a lunatic.
You know better than that. There's no way this could happen by chance. You're just afraid to face reality.

Unconvincing.

You were being quite convincing up until this post.

I haven't heard a convincing explanation yet for how quarters with bats on them were planned years in advance to be released at the exact same time the that bat flu came down on the world.

All we are told is that its a random coincidence. Just ignore it and stop asking questions. But what is the likelihood that these two things would happen at the same time just by chance?

How would we go about calculating that likelihood?

It's beginning to make sense.. In the Disney movie Tangled Rapunzel is kept locked away and told the village that she longs to visit is evil.. ..

Now get this.. The name of the village is Corona..

Coincidence?.. How could it be..?

Was that movie released February 3, 2020, like the bat quarters were?

If the bat quarters were released five years ago, it wouldn't be a thing. But they were released at the exact same time that bat flu was first getting a grip on China.

It's the temporal coincidence that needs to be explained.

Nah .. It's just a coincidence.. Period.

It's YOUR insistence that it CAN'T be a coincidence that needs explaining..

Let's recap ..

The coin's release date predates the outbreak.

From the U.S. Mint last December .. ...

The United States Mint published images and release dates for the five 2020 quarters that recognize national parks and sites located in American Samoa, Connecticut, U.S. Virgin Islands, Vermont and Kansas.

They represent the 51st through 55th coins from the U.S. Mint’s program of America the Beautiful Quarters®. The series calls for one quarter celebrating a site in each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the five U.S. territories. A combined 56 sites will be honored with the final quarter design released in 2021.

Release dates and the locations commemorated on the 2020-dated quarters are:

Feb. 3, 2020 – National Park of American Samoa in American Samoa.

April 6, 2020 – Weir Farm National Historic Site in Connecticut.
June 1, 2020 – Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve in U.S. Virgin Islands.
Aug. 31, 2020 – Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park in Vermont.
Nov. 16, 2020 – Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve in Kansas.

Link

I excitedly await your delightful conspiracies surrounding the Weir Farm Historical Site and Tallgrass Prairie coins ..

But I imagine as with conspiracy nuts in general the lack of evidence otherwise proves the depth of the conspiracy..

Let's dig a bit deeper ..shall we.. .

Seems the depth of your Bat Coin Conspiracy (or BCC as I like to call it) goes back to at least 2018 ..

Before the final designs for these six sites became official, the Mint in 2018 submitted sixty-three candidates to the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) and the Commission of Fine Arts (CFA) for review. On Tuesday, Aug. 13, the Mint announced the six winning designs at the ANA’s World’s Fair of Money in Rosemont, Illinois.

Clearly the Illuminati conspired to synchronize the events.. AmIRight ???

Right, they've been planning these quarters since 2018. And they picked a date for release that coincided precisely with the release of the bat flu.

It's just a coincidence, bro!

Well, let's look at the likelihood of this so-called "coincidence."

If I am not mistaken, the way to calculate the likelihood of two events happening simultaneously is to multiply their likelihoods together. So we just have to find a way to calculate the probability of these two events, and then multiply.

What is the probability that a world-stopping pandemic will happen in the first quarter of any given year?
Well, how many world-stopping pandemics have there been over the past 100 years? 1? 2? 3? It depends on how you count.
But let's say it's just 1, the Spanish flu.
So in 100 years, there was 1, and we are looking at the first quarter of a year, so our probability is 1 in 400, or 0.0025.

Now, what is the probability that bats would be put on a currency?
This is a tough one because it's not clear what the denominator should be.
Perhaps we could say there could be 10 types of items on the quarters, and one of those is an animal species.
And we might say there are 1,000 different species that could have been chosen.
So that makes our denominator 10,000, for a likelihood of bats being on the quarters of 1 in 10,000, or 0.0001.
And then we have to account for the time of release.
Special quarters have been released for about 20 years, and we're talking about quarter years here.
So we divide 0.0001 by 20 x 4 = 80 to get 0.00000125 for the probability of these bat quarters being released in the first quarter of 2020.

Now we multiply .0025 and .00000125 and get a likelihood of 0.000000003125, or 3.1 in 1 billion, or about 1 in 100 million. For context, the likelihood of being struck by lightning during a lifetime is 1 in 13,000. So you're about 7,700 times more likely to be struck by lightning than for the bat quarters and the bat flu to have come out at the same time.

That's pretty unlikely, and I think that's a generous estimate of the likelihood.

Simply put, it is irrational to think that this was just a random coincidence.
There are bats on the quarters.

No .. Do they resemble the ones in your belfry ..?
Who decided to put bats on the quarters?

Who decided to put bats on the quarters?

About two years ago by the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee and the Commission of Fine Arts .. Two lesser known branches of the Illuminati ..

Vampire bat quarters released in October would have been way cooler.
